Well I like the fact that it's soo compact and light than my 15.4 toshiba laptop and that whenever I go to school, I only use it for the basics, which is the internet to look at my facebook, email, and deviantart, and the note-taking that I take in class.

But the cons to the netbook is the space between each keys that it's often makes you type on the wrong button. Also most netbook (including my HP mini) DOES NOT come with a personalization to the desktop background. Which goes to show that Microsoft doesn't want us to use any type of background that we found either on google, deviantart, or other. It's a little upsetting since I wanted to save power and get a background that was dark.

At least, my toshiba has a option for this.

But this limitation only applies for netbooks and personal PCs that have the STARTER edition. There is, however, a link to get you to pay more to an upgrade to a better windows with their "Windows Anytime Upgrade" which is probably the most ridiculous thing i've heard since they're making so much money in the computer business as well as gaming...

With upgrading, you have three choices if your changing your editon to either Home, Professional, and ultimate. Home edition would the minimum with you only paying 79.95, professional would be 119.95 and Ultimate would be 50 bucks more.

The home edition gives you the personalization, lets you watch DVDs (which i wouldn't need since i don't have the drive on my netbook), it also lets you access photos, moves and videos from a running PC (which i don't need), etc etc.

Proffessional lets you run as many programs and lets you connect to any company networks, and gives you an additional full-system backup and restore found in all editions.

Finally Ultimates has everything that above editions has but it also protects your data on your PC and portable storage devices agains loss or theft with bitlocker and gives you a chance to work in the language of your choce and switch between and of the 35 language.

In all, this is a bunch of BS. I would only pay for the personalization, which i bet wont let me do that. But they should right?

And windows commercials say that "this is what I wanted and windows listened"..... right, like they only listened to our pockets...

I guess my netbook will have to wait til i find a way to change to background D:

Happy Birthday to meee!!

I'm deeply scared and worried about my families well being once I found out about the flooding in the Manila. My mom said that she tried to get in touch with her brother in Cainta but no body answered her. And I'm worried about my other uncles family and my half sister's family as well. I'm praying that they'll give me a reply through facebook so that I at least know that there safe. No wonder I had a bad feeling on friday when I tried to go to sleep. And no wonder I had nightmares on that day too. I had a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen.

But please pray for everyone to be safe in the Philippines, knowing that some died from the flood and many are without a home to go back to

I was able to talk to my papa.... He was in Kuwait. I was also able to talk to my little half sister and she told me that they only had knee deep water. My cousin in law Owie said that they were ok, though my nephew started to cry when the flood water rushed into their house. Luckily, they were able to get into the second story. Unfortunately my mom's brother and his family is still out of electricity so I have no means of contacting them. I hope that I get to them so i know they're safe. I've been worrying so much that I actually forgot that I had a map quiz on Micronesia.... Speaking of witch, we had a tsunami (Tidal Wave) scare here in hawaii when Samoa had an earthquake.
